As a Senior Manager within the Fire, Life Safety Planning team, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive fire safety strategies, emergency response protocols, and life safety systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of fire safety plans, emergency action plans, and life safety systems for Qiddiya’s facilities, ensuring full compliance with local, national, and international regulations (e.g., NFPA, ISO, and Saudi Arabia’s fire safety standards).
• Lead technical assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential hazards, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive safety measures are integrated into all project phases.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) specialists to design and specify fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
• Oversee the coordination of fire drills, safety training programs, and emergency response exercises to enhance preparedness and ensure staff and visitor safety.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and certification bodies, ensuring seamless compliance and obtaining necessary approvals for fire safety systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing incident reports, conducting post-mortem analyses, and recommending enhancements to safety protocols.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of safety awareness and professional development within the organization.
• Represent Qiddiya in industry forums, conferences, and partnerships to stay abreast of emerging trends in fire safety technology and regulatory changes.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making, regulatory submissions, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a preference for advanced certifications such as CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) or PE (Professional Engineer) license.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in fire safety planning, life safety engineering, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing fire safety systems for large-scale projects, including commercial, entertainment, and hospitality venues.
• Deep knowledge of fire codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 13, and Saudi Arabia’s fire safety directives.
• Strong technical proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), fire modeling tools (e.g., CFAST, FDS), and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion within tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainability and green building practices, particularly as they relate to fire safety and energy-efficient systems.
