الوصف الوظيفي

Accounting Manager – Lead Financial Operations Across Global Entities

Join a dynamic international finance team as an Accounting Manager, where you will drive precision, compliance, and strategic financial oversight for a diverse portfolio of five entities spanning the US, Hong Kong, Cyprus, and beyond. This fully remote opportunity demands a seasoned professional with a keen eye for detail, a passion for multi-jurisdictional accounting, and the ability to bridge complex financial processes across borders. As the owner of end-to-end accounting operations, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory adherence while fostering collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead month-end closures, general ledger integrity, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring seamless financial reporting that aligns with both IFRS and US GAAP standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining parallel accounting systems—corporate ERP and QuickBooks—while monitoring automated transaction feeds to preempt discrepancies before they impact financial records. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will contribute to strategic financial analysis, including forecasting, plan-versus-actual variance investigations, and performance insights that empower leadership decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Your accountabilities will span a broad spectrum of financial governance, including:

  • Full-Cycle Accounting Leadership: Oversee accurate and timely financial record-keeping for five international entities, ensuring compliance with local and global accounting standards.
  • Month-End Close & Reconciliation: Manage general ledger reviews, trial balance reconciliations, and intercompany accounting to maintain financial accuracy across jurisdictions.
  • Multi-System Accountability: Coordinate between corporate ERP systems and QuickBooks, validating automated data ingestion from bank feeds, APIs, and other financial integrations to eliminate discrepancies.
  • Statutory & Audit Compliance: Lead annual audits for Cyprus and Hong Kong entities, collaborating with external auditors to deliver documentation on time and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Tax & Reporting Coordination: Oversee the group tax calendar, ensuring timely filings for corporate income tax, VAT, and local statutory returns, while managing outsourced tax partners for US compliance.
  • Forecasting & Performance Analysis: Develop and refine monthly/quarterly P&L forecasts, analyzing variances and investigating significant deviations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Support KYC, AML, and financial compliance initiatives with external partners, identifying process inefficiencies and escalating risks as needed.
  • Process Optimization: Maintain robust accounting documentation and drive continuous improvement in financial workflows across diverse entities and jurisdictions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison with international auditors, tax advisors, banking compliance teams, and service providers, ensuring transparent communication with internal stakeholders.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is more than an accounting role—it’s a chance to shape the financial backbone of a globally dispersed organization. If you thrive in high-responsibility environments where precision meets strategic impact, this opportunity offers:

  • A fully remote setup, ideal for professionals seeking flexibility without compromising on impact.
  • The chance to work with cutting-edge financial systems, including ERP and QuickBooks, while navigating automated data flows.
  • Exposure to diverse jurisdictions, honing your expertise in international accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • A collaborative yet autonomous work environment where your leadership directly influences financial integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, International Accountant, or General Ledger Accountant, with a track record in multi-entity international organizations.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in statutory reporting, external audits, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, with familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Experience managing accounting in ERP systems alongside QuickBooks or Xero, including oversight of automated financial data ingestion (e.g., bank feeds, API integrations).
  • Advanced proficiency in tools like Google Sheets and other financial analytics platforms to support forecasting and variance analysis.
  • A global mindset, with prior exposure to international entities or jurisdictions such as the US, Cyprus, or Hong Kong being highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

If you are a detail-oriented, results-driven professional eager to elevate financial operations on a global scale, we invite you to apply and contribute your expertise to this dynamic team.
