Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SMS Development and Implementation: Oversee the creation and refinement of our Safety Management System, ensuring it adheres to industry best practices, such as ISO 31000, ICAO SARPs, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Align the system with Raytheon’s global safety policies while addressing regional compliance needs in Saudi Arabia.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify potential hazards associated with our products and processes. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks, ensuring operational safety and regulatory compliance.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in safety processes by analyzing performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing actionable solutions. Lead audits and inspections to verify compliance and effectiveness of safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to integrate safety considerations into product design and development phases. Work with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to local and international safety standards.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, risk management, and compliance requirements. Foster a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring that Raytheon’s operations in Saudi Arabia remain fully compliant. Represent the company in regulatory engagements and audits.
• Incident Management: Lead investigations into safety incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure thorough documentation and reporting in alignment with company policies.
