Key Responsibilities

Your role will demand a strategic blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and project management prowess. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Cost and Project Planning: Develop detailed cost estimates and project plans for field service upgrades, ensuring alignment with GE Vernova’s operational targets while maintaining competitiveness in scope, resourcing, and timelines.
• End-to-End Project Oversight: Lead projects from opportunity identification through execution and closeout, monitoring performance against SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics and KPIs. Track cost variances, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge gaps between event management, ITO (Information Technology Operations), parts sourcing, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project objectives.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct As-sold vs. As-executed analyses to refine future tendering strategies and enhance cost efficiency. Leverage lessons learned from Go to Gemba visits to inform process improvements.
• Customer-Centric Engagement: Support pre- and post-outage meetings with end customers to maximize project efficiency, while ensuring documentation, technical reports, and cost updates remain accurate and up-to-date.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with Regional and PES Operations teams to foster a feedback loop that drives operational excellence and informs key planning initiatives.
• Innovation and Compliance: Proactively identify opportunities for risk mitigation, compliance adherence, and process optimization to elevate project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Project Management).
• Experience: 10+ years of applicable experience, with 5+ years specializing in GE Gas Turbine and Generator Field Services maintenance. Proven success in cost estimation, project planning, and stakeholder management is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of gas turbine and control systems, along with hands-on experience in field service upgrades and maintenance.
• Language: Fluent English proficiency required for effective communication across global teams.
