Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical and administrative duties, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care. Key responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations—clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional—to inform evidence-based treatment plans aligned with regional and institutional standards.
• Evidence-Based Care Planning: Develop, document, and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and Fakeeh Care’s policies.
• Inpatient Leadership: Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients under your care, overseeing daily assessments, progress notes (using SOAP format), and timely interventions.
• Discharge Coordination: Initiate discharge planning on admission day and collaborate with discharge-planning services to ensure smooth transitions, including timely completion of discharge summaries and patient education.
• Consultative Excellence: Provide timely responses to medical consultations and document all interventions in patients’ medical records with precision and compliance.
• Medical Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely medical records, including discharge summaries, progress notes, and educational materials for patients and families.
• Facility Engagement: Participate in on-call duties as per the departmental schedule, attend staff meetings, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Educational Leadership: Engage in teaching rounds and activities as requested by the medical department chair, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
• Patient and Family Advocacy: Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and preventive measures, empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess a robust blend of clinical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a dedication to excellence. We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Clinical Expertise: Completion of specialized training in Adult Endocrinology at a recognized medical center, holding the highest clinical degree in the field as per regional health regulatory standards (e.g., SCFHS or DHA).
• Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a high-quality healthcare setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex endocrine disorders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, physicians, and non-medical staff.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to digital health platforms and documentation systems.
• Organizational Acumen: Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining composure and clinical judgment.
• Licensure and Compliance: Valid medical license as per regional health regulatory authority requirements, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with Fakeeh Care’s policies.
