Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end support to the Reinsurance team, ensuring the smooth execution of treaty and facultative reinsurance activities. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining robust documentation, facilitating accurate reporting, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Reinsurance Record Management: Maintain comprehensive reinsurance records, registers, and databases to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
• Documentation and Contract Administration: Prepare, manage, and track treaty and facultative reinsurance documents, contracts, and endorsements, ensuring all agreements are current and properly executed.
• Claims and Financial Oversight: Follow up on reinsurance claims, recoveries, and outstanding balances to expedite resolutions and maintain financial integrity.
• Account Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile reinsurance accounts and support quarterly financial closings, providing accurate and timely reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with brokers, reinsurers, Finance, and Claims teams to align processes, resolve issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Treaty Management: Monitor treaty renewals and expiry dates, ensuring proactive communication and timely renewals to mitigate risks and maintain coverage continuity.
• Analytical and Presentational Support: Prepare detailed reports, statistical analyses, and presentations to communicate reinsurance performance, trends, and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all reinsurance activities adhere to regulatory requirements, maintaining proper filing and documentation practices.
