Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously improve the corporate HSE strategy to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental standards.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Create comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and company goals, ensuring they are communicated effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards, while representing the company in external audits, inspections, and regulatory communications.
  • Incident Management: Lead the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely and responsibly.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Drive sustainability initiatives by promoting eco-friendly practices, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with environmental protection regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to integrate HSE best practices into all business operations and supply chain activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure HSE performance, track progress, and report findings to senior management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, CIH, or equivalent) are a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in a senior HSE management role within a corporate or industrial environment, preferably in the manufacturing, equipment, or service sectors.
  • Demonstrable expertise in developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and compliance programs that drive measurable improvements in safety and environmental performance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making to enhance HSE outcomes.
  • Familiarity with international HSE standards, such as ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001, and environmental management systems (EMS).
  • Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools to track performance, monitor compliance, and generate reports.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
