In this **full-time, hands-on technical role**, you will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting our cloud infrastructure while championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency across our Azure subscriptions, landing zones, and hybrid cloud dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the following critical functions to enhance our cloud operations:

• Cloud Administration & Governance: Manage and administer our **Citadel Platform and AI Application Landing Zones**, including Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking (VNETs, DNS, load balancers, firewalls), identity management, RBAC, policies, and cost controls. Ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks while optimizing resource utilization.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Terraform Expertise: Own and maintain **Terraform-based IaC modules**, including state/backends, workspaces, drift detection, and remediation workflows. Automate infrastructure provisioning, enforce consistency, and eliminate manual configuration errors.
• CI/CD & GitHub Enterprise Operations: Operate and optimize **GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) pipelines**, self-hosted runners, and workflows to support seamless CI/CD deployments. Integrate with Azure DevOps where applicable and ensure version-controlled infrastructure changes via automated pipelines.
• Monitoring, Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Monitor platform health, availability, security alerts, and integration failures using advanced tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and third-party solutions. Lead incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and recurring problem tracking to minimize downtime.
• Release Management & Deployment Support: Execute controlled releases, deployment verification, and rollback procedures in alignment with change-management processes. Ensure smooth transitions across Azure, GCP, and on-premise environments.
• Operational Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain runbooks, deployment checklists, configuration inventories, and handover documentation. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure operational continuity and team proficiency.
• Cross-Platform Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to networking, identity, APIs, data access, and connectivity across **Azure, GCP, and on-premise systems**. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve interdependencies.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• **Minimum 3–10 years of hands-on experience** in **Azure administration and operations**, with a focus on production environments.
• **Deep expertise in Azure Landing Zones**, hub-spoke networking architectures, and cloud governance frameworks.
• **Proficient Terraform practitioner** with hands-on experience in module design, state/backend management, plan/apply workflows, and drift remediation.
• **GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) and GitHub Actions mastery**, including self-hosted runners and pipeline-driven Terraform deployments.
• **CI/CD pipeline ownership**, with experience supporting release management, rollback planning, and operational documentation.
• **Strong scripting skills** in **PowerShell, Bash, or Python** for automation and troubleshooting.
• **Comprehensive knowledge of Azure services**, including subscriptions, resource groups, IAM, RBAC, Policy Management, Key Vault, and cost controls.
• **Monitoring and observability expertise**, with experience using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/OpenSearch.
• **Troubleshooting acumen** for network, identity, API, and connectivity issues across hybrid cloud environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

While not mandatory, the following will further strengthen your impact:

• Experience with **Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift** for containerized deployments.
• Exposure to **DevSecOps principles**, security scanning, and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Familiarity with **Terraform Cloud/Enterprise** for advanced IaC governance.
• Knowledge of **ServiceNow and ITSM processes** for incident and change management.
• Experience in **regulated or enterprise environments**, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
