• Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine radiotherapy treatment plans, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and patient-specific needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to junior Medical Physicists and Radiation Therapy Technicians, fostering best practices in equipment utilization, protocol adherence, and clinical workflows.
• Clinical Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals, including nurses and technicians, to uphold rigorous Radiotherapy standards and ensure seamless integration of advanced techniques.
• Innovation and Research: Stay at the forefront of radiotherapy advancements by researching emerging techniques, evaluating new equipment, and recommending upgrades to maintain state-of-the-art capabilities.
• Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and oversee rigorous quality control measures for all radiotherapy equipment, including dosimetry calibration, periodic monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols. Develop and enforce radiation safety policies in compliance with regional and international guidelines.
• On-Call Support: Act as the primary point of contact for urgent technical issues, providing real-time problem-solving and ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
• Patient Education: Empower patients and their families with clear, evidence-based information regarding treatment processes, safety measures, and preventive care.
