What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Lucidya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform by:

• Building Scalable, High-Performance Frontend Applications: Develop production-grade web applications using modern frameworks like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, ensuring they are responsive, intuitive, and optimized for performance. Transform product requirements and design mockups into seamless, user-centric interfaces that drive engagement.
• Mastering Real-Time and Asynchronous Systems: Work with WebSockets/Socket.IO to create dynamic, real-time user experiences. Integrate with backend systems like RabbitMQ and REST APIs, handling complex event-driven flows, reconnection logic, and state synchronization with precision.
• Optimizing State Management: Leverage React Query/TanStack Query for efficient server state management and Redux/Redux Toolkit for complex client-side state when necessary, ensuring applications remain performant and scalable.
• Advancing Frontend Architecture: Contribute to refining our frontend architecture, improving code organization, and enhancing maintainability. Focus on writing clean, modular, and reusable components that align with best practices.
• Embracing AI as an Engineering Accelerator: Harness AI tools to streamline development—from prototyping and debugging to testing and refactoring. Use AI to automate repetitive tasks while maintaining rigorous standards for quality, security, and performance. Critically evaluate AI-generated solutions to ensure they meet technical and business requirements.
• Driving Quality Through Testing and Collaboration: Adopt a quality-first mindset by writing comprehensive unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright). Actively participate in code reviews, identify edge cases, and proactively address potential issues before they impact users. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement through systematic debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with frontend engineers, backend developers, QA specialists, product managers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions. Take ownership of your work—from requirements clarification to production deployment—while fostering open communication and problem-solving.
