What You’ll Contribute

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Lucidya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform by delivering high-performance, user-centric applications that drive exceptional customer experiences. Your work will directly impact how enterprises engage with their customers in real time, making your contributions both meaningful and transformative.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop and Maintain Production-Grade Frontend Applications: Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using modern technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Transform product requirements and design specifications into intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Integrate Real-Time Capabilities: Work with WebSockets and Socket.IO to create seamless real-time user experiences, ensuring robust handling of event-driven flows, reconnection scenarios, and synchronization between live events and UI state.
• Optimize Performance and State Management: Leverage React Query / TanStack Query for efficient server state management and Redux / Redux Toolkit for complex client-side state solutions when necessary. Focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability in every line of code.
• Collaborate with Backend Systems: Interface with REST APIs and RabbitMQ to ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend systems, bridging the gap between user interactions and backend logic.
• Embrace AI as an Engineering Accelerator: Utilize AI tools to streamline development workflows—from prototyping and debugging to testing and refactoring. Critically evaluate AI-generated solutions to ensure they align with technical requirements, quality standards, and business objectives. Aim to automate repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and performance.
• Drive Quality Through Testing and Review: Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright. Adopt a proactive approach to identifying edge cases, regressions, and potential issues before they impact users. Participate actively in code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Take Ownership of the Entire Development Lifecycle: From understanding requirements to implementation, testing, and deployment, you will own the end-to-end process. Communicate transparently about technical challenges, risks, and dependencies to ensure alignment with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, backend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers.
• Innovate and Improve: Continuously evaluate and enhance frontend architecture, code organization, and development processes. Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for best practices that elevate the platform’s performance and user experience.
