We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roads Engineer to join our Riyadh office, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s infrastructure landscape.

Your Impact

As a Roads Engineer at ARX, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering world-class road and highway infrastructure that enhances connectivity, mobility, and economic growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Design and Planning: Lead the design, planning, and oversight of roads and highways for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with global and local standards.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and review comprehensive engineering analyses, including road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and traffic studies to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to KSA’s stringent regulations, codes, and industry best practices, mitigating risks and ensuring project viability.
• Collaborative Integration: Work closely with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate road systems into broader infrastructure projects, including corridors, junctions, and intersections.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and external partners to align project deliverables with strategic objectives and community requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and technical documentation to support project execution and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• Proven expertise in KSA, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the Kingdom, demonstrating your ability to navigate local regulations and market dynamics.
• Deep technical knowledge of road and highway design principles, including geometric design, traffic engineering, pavement analysis, and intersection planning.
• Proficiency in industry-leading software such as Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, and other design tools to deliver high-precision engineering solutions.
• Fluency in English is essential, with an added advantage of proficiency in Arabic to facilitate seamless communication with stakeholders.
