Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span across core accounting functions, strategic financial oversight, and team leadership:

• Financial Process Management: Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting processes, including account balancing, ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial documentation, presentations, and analyses.
• Client and Stakeholder Support: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to clarify accounting processes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct audits to enhance financial controls and mitigate risks. Monitor tax obligations, ensure compliance, and safeguard organizational assets.
• Performance and Goal Achievement: Set and exceed performance, budget, and team goals. Drive operational efficiency by prioritizing tasks, organizing workflows, and ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain accurate documentation of profits, losses, and financial performance.
• Financial Analysis and Decision-Making: Analyze financial data to identify trends, evaluate results, and recommend data-driven solutions. Utilize your expertise in revenue reporting, write-off procedures, and consolidated deposits to support informed business decisions.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team. Conduct performance appraisals, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure a positive work environment that promotes productivity and employee satisfaction.
• Human Resources and Compliance: Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes. Adhere to progressive discipline procedures and ensure employee safety, security, and attendance policies are upheld.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. While prior work experience is not mandatory, a strong foundation in financial principles is essential.
