Key Responsibilities:

• Student Support & Well-being: Provide individual and group counselling to students, addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioural challenges with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and mentor the counselling team, ensuring alignment with school policies and best practices in student support.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies that enhance student engagement and well-being.
• Program Development: Design and oversee counselling programs, workshops, and initiatives that promote mental health awareness, resilience, and positive behaviour.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze student feedback and performance data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions.
• Professional Growth: Stay updated on the latest counselling techniques, psychological research, and educational trends to ensure best-in-class support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field is required, with a preference for those holding relevant certifications (e.g., NCS, MHP, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in school counselling, preferably in an international or bilingual educational setting.
• Proven leadership experience in managing counselling teams and implementing student support programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and staff.
• Familiarity with educational frameworks, such as the British curriculum, is a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
