Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Execution: Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from processing purchase requests to finalizing contracts, ensuring alignment with hospital priorities and budgetary constraints.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reputable suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing while maintaining high standards for product quality and reliability.
• Regulatory and Compliance Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with **SFDA (Saudi Food and Drug Authority)** regulations and internal hospital policies, mitigating risks and ensuring operational integrity.
• Collaborative Technical Coordination: Work closely with **biomedical and clinical teams** to clarify technical specifications, ensuring purchased items meet performance and safety requirements.
• Purchase Order Oversight: Monitor the status of purchase orders from inception to delivery, addressing discrepancies promptly to avoid delays and ensure uninterrupted supply chains.
• Cost Optimization and Efficiency: Continuously analyze market trends and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: A **Bachelor’s degree** in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare discipline is required. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus.
• Industry Expertise: Proven experience in **healthcare procurement**, with a deep understanding of medical equipment, devices, and consumables. Prior experience in a **hospital or clinical setting** is highly valued.
• Procurement Proficiency: Minimum of **two years** in procurement roles, with a focus on vendor negotiations, contract management, and supply chain optimization.
