Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span across strategic financial leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement:

• Strategic Financial Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that enhance profitability, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive operational efficiency. Lead the creation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans that align with the property’s and brand’s long-term vision.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze financial data, market trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights. Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to anticipate challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities, ensuring proactive and informed decision-making.
• Risk Management and Control: Establish and enforce robust accounting and operational controls to mitigate risks, protect assets, and enhance profitability. Oversee internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing finance and accounting team by fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Assign clear roles and responsibilities, conduct performance appraisals, and mentor team members to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and executive committee, providing clear and persuasive financial guidance. Engage with key stakeholders—including owners, corporate leadership, and operational teams—to communicate financial priorities, align expectations, and drive collective success.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor actual versus projected financial performance to identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Leverage your expertise to advise on financial concepts, ensuring transparency and driving behaviors that support organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic rigor and hands-on experience:

• Education: A four-year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by at least two years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a master’s degree in Finance or Accounting will be considered without prior work experience.
• Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that enhance profitability and align with business objectives. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential.
