System Administrator – Lead IT Infrastructure with Precision and Expertise

As a System Administrator at TAWAL, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our core IT infrastructure. This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization while honing your technical expertise in a high-impact environment.

In this strategic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and Optimizing IT Infrastructure: Oversee servers, operating systems, and virtualization platforms to ensure high availability, reliability, and peak performance. Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and systems.
• Enhancing Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitor and enforce user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure IT environment.
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with efficiency and precision. Provide proactive support to internal stakeholders, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system functionality.
• Capacity Planning and Infrastructure Upgrades: Participate in capacity planning initiatives and infrastructure upgrades to align with TAWAL’s technological advancements and business growth. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing innovative solutions.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Competencies

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with a proven track record in IT infrastructure management. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Advanced Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in managing servers, operating systems (including Windows Server and Linux distributions), and virtualization platforms. Proficiency in Active Directory, backup solutions, and monitoring tools is essential.
• Network Administration Skills: Hands-on experience with network administration, including routing, switching, and configuration of network services. Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking solutions is a significant advantage.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: A strong aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues, coupled with the ability to document findings and implement effective solutions.
• Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, Linux+, Network+, or similar credentials are highly regarded.
• Collaboration and Adaptability: The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, communicate technical concepts clearly, and adapt to evolving technological landscapes. On-site presence in Riyadh is mandatory.
