Core Accountabilities:

• Financial Documentation Review: Thoroughly review and verify the accuracy of financial and contractual paperwork, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare detailed financial statements and reports tailored for external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Budget and Forecast Support: Assist in the compilation and analysis of budgetary data, contributing to the development of financial forecasts and strategic planning initiatives.
• Accounts Payable Support: Provide backup support to the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and invoices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of formal education and hands-on experience in the field of accounting. We are looking for candidates with:

• Education: An Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in financial accounting.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment. Experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, and accounts payable is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and financial modeling.
