Key Responsibilities:

As an AI/ML Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Model Development and Deployment: Develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning and deep learning models tailored for industrial analytics, focusing on process deviation detection, predictive maintenance, equipment performance optimization, yield estimation, and overall operational efficiency. Utilize state-of-the-art techniques such as CNN, LSTM, YOLO, clustering, SVM, and optimization algorithms to create scalable and high-performance solutions.
• Data Engineering and Preprocessing: Perform comprehensive data exploration, cleansing, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality datasets for model training. Apply rigorous validation and tuning methodologies to optimize model performance and accuracy.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with domain experts in refinery and process industries to translate complex engineering requirements into actionable ML features and rules. Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between AI solutions and operational goals.
• MLOps and Integration: Deploy AI/ML solutions using robust MLOps frameworks on leading cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Integrate models with dashboards, alerting systems, and reporting tools to enable real-time monitoring and decision support. Implement model versioning, monitoring, and retraining pipelines to ensure continuous improvement and drift detection.
• Advanced AI Techniques: Apply cutting-edge AI methodologies, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Knowledge Graphs, to enhance the capabilities of your solutions. Explore the intersection of AI and physics-based modeling to develop hybrid approaches that deliver superior predictive accuracy.
• Documentation and Validation: Document model assumptions, validation results, and limitations with clarity and precision. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production stabilization to ensure seamless transition and adoption of AI-driven solutions.

While experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Process Industry is highly desirable, we are equally excited to collaborate with engineers who bring innovative perspectives and expertise in Generative AI, AI Agents, and Physics-informed Machine Learning.
