Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership: Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver complex cybersecurity projects across Trading, Forex, Brokerage, and Financial Services platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and security best practices.
• Security Technology Implementation: Manage initiatives related to Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Operations Center (SOC) enhancements, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Security, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Zero Trust architectures, and Vulnerability Management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Information Security, Infrastructure, Trading Technology, DevOps, Application Development, Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to embed security into critical systems, including electronic trading platforms, FIX connectivity, market data services, payment processing, and digital customer channels.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Oversee relationships with third-party cybersecurity vendors, implementation partners, penetration testing providers, and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to ensure seamless integration and project success.
• Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and remediation activities to address regulatory requirements and mitigate risks proactively.
• Cyber Resilience and Incident Readiness: Lead projects focused on cyber resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning to fortify our organization’s ability to withstand and recover from cyber threats.
• Executive Reporting and Governance: Develop comprehensive project documentation, including RAID logs, governance reports, executive dashboards, and project plans, while providing regular updates to senior leadership and governance committees.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely delivery of remediation projects stemming from audits, regulatory inspections, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, maintaining adherence to financial regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Trading, Forex, Brokerage, Capital Markets, or Financial Services ecosystems, including exposure to trading platforms, payment systems, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
• Cybersecurity Domains: Comprehensive understanding of critical security technologies, including IAM, PAM, SIEM, SOC, DLP, Cloud Security, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Zero Trust, and Vulnerability Management.
• Compliance and Regulatory Acumen: Solid grasp of financial regulations, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and industry standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external vendors, and executive stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving alignment across diverse organizational units.
