We are seeking a visionary Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in our Finance team. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and review of comprehensive financial reports, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in financial reporting, a deep understanding of Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V), and a commitment to driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As our Financial Reporting Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will be both diverse and impactful:

• Leadership in Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation, review, and validation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and aligned with international financial reporting standards.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to applicable IFRS/GAAP standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and maintaining integrity.
• Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between internal teams, Finance departments, and external auditors, addressing reporting queries and ensuring seamless audit processes.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for senior management, driving data-driven decision-making.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in financial reporting processes and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Assist in developing sophisticated financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to support long-term strategic planning.
• Presentation and Communication: Prepare concise, compelling presentations and financial analyses for senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment.
• Continuous Learning and Mentorship: Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, while mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of growth and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial management, with at least 3 years gained in a leading audit firm. Experience in Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting systems/ERP, with a strong grasp of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable business insights.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Attention to Detail: An unwavering commitment to accuracy and precision in all financial reporting activities.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to engage with senior management, internal teams, and external auditors.
