IT Cybersecurity Administrator – Safeguarding a Technology-Driven Logistics Empire

At Sons of Sulaiman Hamad Al Saif for Land Transport & Logistics, we are at the forefront of a dynamic, technology-enabled logistics landscape where the seamless operation of our systems and the protection of sensitive data are non-negotiable. As an IT Cybersecurity Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our digital infrastructure against evolving cyber threats, ensuring operational resilience, and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality.

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to contribute to a mission-critical function within a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, security, and excellence. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to safeguarding mission-critical systems, we invite you to join our team as the guardian of our digital assets.

Your Impact

In this full-time role, you will be the linchpin of our cybersecurity framework, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security controls across our IT environment. Your expertise will directly influence the protection of our networks, endpoints, and business-critical data, ensuring uninterrupted operations in a sector where reliability is paramount. Your work will span proactive threat mitigation, incident response, and compliance enforcement, making a tangible difference in how we safeguard our digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of cybersecurity functions, including but not limited to:

  • Proactive Threat Monitoring and Incident Response: Actively monitor cybersecurity alerts, logs, and security events to detect and mitigate potential threats in real time. Investigate security incidents with precision, ensuring swift and effective responses to minimize risk and disruption.
  • Endpoint and Network Security: Administer and optimize endpoint security solutions, including EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and antivirus platforms, to protect devices across our infrastructure. Configure and maintain firewall and network security measures to fortify our digital perimeter.
  • Access and Identity Management: Collaborate on Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes, reviewing user access privileges and enforcing strict access controls to prevent unauthorized entry and data breaches.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts to address security gaps before they can be exploited. Stay ahead of emerging threats by continuously evaluating our infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance and Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, procedures, and industry standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security protocols and contribute to regular audits and assessments.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Support backup strategies and disaster recovery planning to ensure data availability and operational resilience during unforeseen events.
  • Awareness and Collaboration: Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives to educate employees on best practices and foster a culture of security vigilance. Collaborate closely with IT teams and external vendors to align security measures with broader technological objectives.
  • Strategic Threat Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and emerging threats, providing actionable insights to enhance our security posture and recommend proactive security measures.

  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of network security, including TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory. Familiarity with Windows environments and expertise in endpoint security, access management, and firewall configurations.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with SIEM solutions, EDR/XDR platforms, and vulnerability management tools. Understanding of threat detection and incident response methodologies is a significant asset.
  • Certifications: While not mandatory, the following certifications will strengthen your candidacy: CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CCNA Cyber Ops, CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
