Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational initiatives, including:

• Lead Advisory Engagements: Drive and support transformative projects across Banking and Capital Markets, focusing on finance transformation, operating model design, core banking modernization, digital channels, data governance, controls, and technology-enabled change. Extend this expertise to Asset Management and Private Equity engagements, addressing finance and operational challenges at both management company and portfolio company levels.
• Fund Accounting and Controllership: Apply deep knowledge of fund controllership and accounting principles to deliver tailored solutions for private equity and asset management clients, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior executives, finance, operations, technology, risk, and compliance teams to diagnose current-state challenges, define future-state requirements, and develop scalable implementation roadmaps.
• Strategic Roadmapping: Translate complex banking and business strategies into actionable workplans, process designs, capability maps, target operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation deliverables.
• Programme Leadership: Oversee large-scale transformation initiatives, including programme governance, PMO setup, milestone tracking, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, business readiness assessments, change adoption strategies, and executive reporting.
• Business Development: Actively contribute to proposal development, credentials management, scope definition, effort estimation, client presentations, and the creation of boardroom-ready materials to expand the FAAS Banking and Capital Markets practice.
• Team Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, and professional excellence to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client outputs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess:

• 5–7 Years of Relevant Experience: A proven track record within a top-tier consulting firm, Big Four advisory practice, financial services technology advisory firm, or a leading banking transformation environment.
• Banking and Capital Markets Expertise: Extensive experience serving clients in retail banking, corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury, payments, lending, deposits, cards, trade finance, capital markets, or related banking products.
• Asset Management and Private Equity Proficiency: Deep familiarity with asset management and private equity clients, including various fund structures and their operational intricacies.
• Transformation Leadership: Hands-on experience in driving transformation programmes within asset management, private equity, and banking sectors, specializing in operating model redesign, process improvement, technology implementation, digital transformation, core banking modernization, or large-scale programme delivery.
• Core Banking Platforms and Digital Solutions: Experience working with or around core banking platforms, digital banking channels, payment systems, and emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
