Key Responsibilities

• Cluster & CP4I Architecture & Deployment: Design, deploy, and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid cloud environments, leveraging Operator Lifecycle Management (OLM) to provision and scale IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) with precision. Ensure seamless integration of containerized workloads while maintaining high availability and performance.
• Integration Component Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of core CP4I components—IBM MQ, API Connect, App Connect (ACE), Event Streams, and Aspera—using IBM operators to ensure optimal configuration, scalability, and operational efficiency. Implement best practices for containerized message queuing, API lifecycle management, and event-driven architectures.
• Security & Identity Governance: Implement robust security frameworks by enforcing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), managing OAuth integrations, and configuring identity layers such as Keycloak and IAM. Secure cluster infrastructures with SSL/TLS certifications and compliance scanning to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
• Compute, Storage, and Lifecycle Optimization: Architect persistent storage layers using Software-Defined Storage (SDS) solutions like Ceph and Portworx, ensuring high-performance, scalable storage for containerized applications. Schedule zero-downtime cluster upgrades, security patching, and node updates while maintaining operational continuity.
• Performance Diagnostics & Proactive Troubleshooting: Deploy Advanced Performance Monitoring (APM) dashboards to proactively identify and resolve cluster degradation, persistent volume failures, and pod networking issues. Automate multi-tenant provisioning using GitOps methodologies and leverage container density logs to optimize compute sizing and resource allocation.

• Technical Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and IBM CP4I components, including IBM MQ, API Connect, App Connect (ACE), Event Streams, and Aspera. Proficiency in Software-Defined Networking (SDN/OVN), Ingress/Route architectures, service meshes (Istio), and container security compliance scanning.
• Architectural & Analytical Acumen: Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, containerized message queuing, and API lifecycle architectures. Exceptional analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex container density logs, compute sizing variables, and network policy issues.
