As the Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing accounting team, implementing robust controls, and ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of accounting functions, demanding both strategic oversight and meticulous attention to detail. Below are the core areas of responsibility:

• Accounting Operations Management: Lead and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily transactions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Payroll Accounting, and Fixed Assets. Implement and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
• Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide senior management with accurate, actionable financial insights through comprehensive reporting and analysis. Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring the availability of reliable financial information for strategic planning and performance evaluation.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Oversight: Manage customer invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition processes to ensure timely and accurate financial settlements. Oversee AR aging reports, customer reconciliations, and subledger integrations with the General Ledger. Review credit notes and adjustments to maintain compliance with revenue recognition policies.
• Accounts Payable (AP) Excellence: Lead the AP function by overseeing supplier invoices, expense allocations, and liability management. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments while reconciling AP subledger entries with the General Ledger. Collaborate with Treasury to align accounting processes with cash flow planning and payment schedules.
• General Ledger and Reconciliation: Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger by overseeing journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and periodic reconciliations. Analyze trial balances and resolve discrepancies in key accounts, including Bank, AR, AP, Payroll, VAT, Advances, and Fixed Assets. Ensure all suspense and clearing accounts are promptly addressed.
• Payroll Accounting: Direct the accounting treatment of salaries, wages, and related liabilities, ensuring seamless reconciliation with the General Ledger, bank accounts, and payroll systems. Allocate payroll costs accurately to projects and cost centers to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Fixed Assets Management: Oversee the Fixed Asset Register, including asset additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations. Ensure alignment between the Fixed Asset Register and General Ledger to maintain accurate asset valuation and reporting.
• Project and Cost Accounting: Facilitate accurate allocation of revenues and costs to projects, cost centers, and accounts. Analyze project profitability, cost variances, and margins to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the Month-End and Year-End Closing processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and completion of all reconciliations, adjustments, and closing activities. Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances, and balance sheet accounts for management and audit readiness.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.
