Key Responsibilities

In this full-time role, you will:

• Design, implement, and manage the Company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple offices, branches, and operational locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and high availability.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to meet evolving business needs.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity in real-time, leveraging advanced tools and analytics to identify and address potential bottlenecks proactively.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.
• Implement and enforce network security controls, including segmentation, access policies, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard sensitive data and critical assets.
• Manage and secure VPN connectivity between corporate headquarters and remote branches, ensuring secure and reliable communication across distributed locations.
• Support the planning, execution, and deployment of network infrastructure projects, including new site implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for the IT team and stakeholders.
• Analyze network capacity and trends, providing data-driven recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and scalability.
• Collaborate with telecom providers and technology vendors to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring resilience and rapid recovery in the event of network failures or cyber threats.
• Ensure the network infrastructure adheres to performance, availability, and security standards, aligning with industry regulations and Company policies.
• Actively participate in IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise environments. Experience in a multi-site or geographically distributed setting is highly preferred.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching, with practical experience in deploying and managing these technologies in complex networks.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.
• Security Awareness: Understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network segmentation.

While not mandatory, the following are highly advantageous:

• Experience with Cisco enterprise networking solutions, including routers, switches, and unified communications systems.
• Familiarity with Fortinet or Palo Alto security platforms, or similar enterprise-grade network security tools.
• Proven experience in multi-site network management, including hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

Preferred Certifications

Certifications in the following areas will strengthen your candidacy:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certifications
• CompTIA Network+
