Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of governance, compliance, and operational responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Develop and Refine IT Governance Frameworks: Design, maintain, and continuously enhance IT governance frameworks based on ISO 27001, ISO 22301, COBIT, and ITIL, ensuring they remain agile, scalable, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Policy and Compliance Leadership: Govern IT policies, procedures, standards, and controls to ensure full compliance with cybersecurity best practices and international standards, fostering a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
• IT Process Governance: Establish and oversee critical ITIL processes, including change management, incident management, problem management, configuration management, asset management, and service management, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
• Control and Performance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with governance controls, SLAs, OLAs, configuration standards, and performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to drive operational improvements and mitigate risks.
• Change and Incident Governance: Ensure all changes and incidents undergo rigorous assessment, approval, documentation, resolution, and review processes, incorporating lessons learned to enhance future operations.
• Asset and Documentation Governance: Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and implement secure, version-controlled systems for managing documentation, configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), architecture, and disaster recovery (DR) materials.
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Oversee the implementation of ISO 22301 requirements, including Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), continuity planning, DR documentation, testing, and readiness assessments to ensure organizational resilience.
• Vendor Governance: Monitor third-party compliance, contractual obligations, SLAs, and business continuity requirements to mitigate external risks and ensure vendor alignment with organizational standards.
• Audit and Risk Management: Coordinate internal and external ISO audits, track audit findings, and drive corrective actions to address compliance gaps and cybersecurity risks, ensuring timely and effective risk treatment.
• Strategic Reporting: Prepare governance dashboards and reports for senior leadership, providing actionable insights into compliance status, audit actions, SLA performance, service maturity, risks, and continuity readiness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Operations teams to embed governance and security requirements into projects, changes, and technology implementations, fostering cross-functional alignment.
• Awareness and Training: Deliver governance and compliance awareness programs to educate employees on ISO requirements, ITIL frameworks, change management, service management, and organizational policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, operational risks, audit recommendations, and regulatory changes, proposing and driving actionable improvements to strengthen the IT governance program.
