Key Responsibilities

As the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will span critical areas of financial management, ensuring precision, accountability, and continuous improvement:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), presenting them to the CEO for review. Ensure all reporting aligns with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks and international best practices.
• Inventory & Asset Integrity: Reconcile financial ledger balances with physical vault records on a weekly basis, ensuring 100% accuracy in precious-metal inventory tracking. Implement rigorous controls to prevent discrepancies and protect company assets.
• Tax & Regulatory Expertise: Oversee the timely and precise filing of VAT returns and withholding tax declarations in accordance with ZATCA regulations. Stay ahead of evolving tax laws to minimize risks and ensure seamless compliance.
• Audit & Governance: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, facilitating annual and interim audits with zero material adjustments. Strengthen internal controls to enhance audit readiness and financial transparency.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor a high-performing accounting team, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance on IFRS and Saudi accounting standards, and fostering a culture of excellence. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Conduct in-depth analysis of operational costs to identify variances, support budgeting, and refine forecasting processes. Leverage data to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
• Treasury & Liquidity Management: Manage bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity for operations. Collaborate with finance teams to mitigate financial risks and enhance working capital management.
• ERP & System Integration: Oversee the integration of financial data from operational systems into the ERP platform (e.g., Odoo, Jisr), ensuring seamless reporting and real-time visibility into financial performance.
• Policy & Process Innovation: Develop and update accounting policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and evolving business needs. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce operational inefficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in financial leadership, regulatory compliance, and process optimization. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution, complemented by a professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, demonstrating expertise in financial leadership.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Arabian tax laws, including VAT and withholding tax, with experience navigating complex regulatory environments.
• Proven experience in the mining or industrial sector, particularly in inventory accounting and asset management, with a focus on high-value commodities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo or Jisr, with the ability to integrate financial data across disparate systems for accurate reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in high-stakes financial environments.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, with strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Resolve all inventory discrepancies daily, ensuring alignment between financial records and physical precious-metal assets.

• Lead initiatives to optimize accounting processes, reducing inefficiencies and enhancing team productivity.
