Key Responsibilities

• Process Innovation and Optimization: Lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and repair processes for Gas Turbine Blades. Drive reductions in lead times, cycle times, and Cost of Quality (COQ) through data-driven decision-making and process refinements.
• Technical Leadership and Problem-Solving: Design advanced fixtures and tooling, establish standardized repair methodologies, and create comprehensive work instructions to ensure consistency and precision across the product line. Resolve complex technical challenges by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and maintain rigorous quality standards.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee high-impact projects with a focus on budget control, resource allocation, and timely delivery. From initial concept to final implementation, you will define investment priorities, manage expenses, and ensure projects align with strategic objectives.
• Quality and Compliance Excellence: Ensure all technical documentation and historical records adhere to industry standards, fostering transparency and accountability. Integrate Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols into every process to uphold the highest operational integrity.
• Driving Operational Efficiency: Champion LEAN manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, enhance productivity, and implement cost-saving strategies. Leverage analytical tools to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between manufacturing, sales, marketing, and external vendors, ensuring alignment on technical specifications, timelines, and quality expectations. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of four years in a technical, operational, or production-focused role, with a demonstrated track record of driving process improvements in high-precision manufacturing environments.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification or higher is a significant advantage). Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes of operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
