Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development & Strategy: Lead the analysis of market trends, clinical requirements, and competitive landscapes to shape the trajectory of trauma-related products. Work closely with R&D teams to define specifications, prototypes, and commercialization plans that align with global healthcare standards.
• Clinical & Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all product developments adhere to stringent regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, ISO, and regional compliance) while maintaining alignment with clinical best practices. Act as a liaison between medical professionals and internal stakeholders to validate product efficacy and safety.
• Market & Customer Insights: Engage with healthcare providers, surgeons, and trauma specialists to gather actionable feedback. Leverage this intelligence to refine product features, training programs, and go-to-market strategies tailored to regional and global needs.
• Technical & Commercial Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to oversee product launches, troubleshoot challenges, and drive adoption. Present technical and commercial insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Training & Education: Develop and deliver training programs for medical professionals and sales teams to ensure optimal product utilization. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in trauma surgery and orthopedics to position Smith & Nephew as an industry innovator.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of trauma-related medical devices, including fixation systems, fracture management tools, and surgical implants. Familiarity with regulatory processes (e.g., FDA 510(k), CE Marking) and clinical trial methodologies is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Strong project management abilities to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A client-centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Arabic language skills are advantageous for effective engagement in the Riyadh market.
