As an Automated Operations Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing large-scale Core, Packet Switched (PS), and ITSC networks. Your responsibilities will span across monitoring, fault resolution, proactive maintenance, and escalation management, ensuring minimal downtime and peak operational performance. Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

• Advanced Network Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform intricate configuration changes and diagnose complex faults across critical network nodes, including MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM (CUDB, HSS, HLR), and IMS components. Apply approved methodologies to resolve issues efficiently while adhering to strict SLAs.
• Technical Leadership and Process Optimization: Engage in internal technical discussions to refine network monitoring frameworks and enhance first-level troubleshooting protocols. Provide data-driven recommendations to elevate operational efficiency and reduce incident resolution times.
• Change and Incident Management: Oversee fault handling activities, including trouble ticket (TT) management and fault localization, ensuring timely resolution within agreed service-level agreements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate change management activities and implement Change Requests (CRs) seamlessly.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Drive rapid incident recovery and resolution, leveraging analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions under pressure. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying best practices and automating repetitive tasks.

Your Expertise

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Academic Foundation: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a preference for Telecommunications or a related discipline, providing a strong technical foundation for network operations.
• Technical Proficiency: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Core Network operations, with deep knowledge of core network protocols such as SIP, H.248, SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, and Diameter. Familiarity with 2G, 3G, and 4G Core Network architectures and signaling flows is essential.
• Voice Core and IMS Expertise: Proven second-line operational experience in managing Voice Core CS nodes (e.g., MSC, MGW, STP, UDC, APG) and IMS nodes (e.g., SBG, MTAS, CSCF, IPWorks, EMM). Ability to troubleshoot and optimize these systems to ensure seamless call processing and service delivery.
• Virtualization and Cloud Technologies: Strong knowledge of Virtualization, Cloud NFVI (Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure), and NFVO (Network Functions Virtualization Orchestrator) technologies is highly valued, reflecting the evolving landscape of modern network deployments.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to diagnose complex issues, coupled with a proactive mindset to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently. Thrives in high-pressure environments, delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining composure.
