Key Responsibilities

In this full-time hybrid role—primarily based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia—you will:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and meticulous account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closings with precision and adherence to international accounting standards.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
• Monitor cash flow dynamics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations and best practices while maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, contributing to continuous financial optimization.
• Develop and present management reports that provide actionable insights, supporting leadership in their financial governance and investment strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with a proven track record in accounting and financial management. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, including IFRS or GAAP, with hands-on experience in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficient proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel for complex financial analysis and reporting.
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a focus on driving performance and supporting data-informed decision-making.
• A strong grasp of Saudi Arabian tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes, ensuring adherence to local and international financial governance frameworks.
• Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a relentless commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a passion for refining financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an advantage for Arabic proficiency to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA (preferred).
• Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally within investment, financial services, or related sectors, demonstrating a track record of leadership and impact.
