In this strategic leadership position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Client Facing, and regional stakeholders, to optimize financial performance, mitigate risks, and align financial strategies with business objectives. Reporting directly to the KBO Head of Finance, you will be instrumental in steering the financial health of the region while supporting Visa’s broader vision of becoming the most trusted and scalable payments solution worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of financial responsibilities, blending analytical rigor with strategic foresight:

• Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development of critical business drivers—such as transaction volumes, market trends, and product performance metrics—to inform annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. Conduct in-depth analysis of volume trends, distinguishing between international and domestic markets to identify growth opportunities and refine market development strategies.
• Financial Risk Management and Deal Structuring: Act as a financial advisor for high-stakes client deals, ensuring alignment with business needs while adhering to governance and compliance standards. Model and evaluate incentive proposals, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on financial viability, risk mitigation, and execution feasibility. Track and analyze deal performance in real time, offering actionable insights to optimize returns and operational efficiency.
• Revenue and Investment Optimization: Collaborate with sales teams to challenge and refine revenue projections for existing and new deals, ensuring accuracy and realism in forecasting. Drive continuous improvement in revenue management, investment decision-making, and contra-revenue analysis to enhance profitability across the region.
• Expense Management and Budget Leadership: Take ownership of cross-functional expense planning, budget forecasting, and performance tracking for the KBO region. Provide proactive guidance to cost center managers, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and fostering a culture of financial discipline. Implement strategies to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow management.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure all financial transactions, approvals, and reporting processes adhere to Visa’s policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems, providing transparent and auditable financial documentation for stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including Legal, Client Contract Management, and Controlling—to streamline contract execution, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency. Act as a bridge between finance and business units, driving alignment and fostering a data-driven culture.
