Key Responsibilities

In this strategic merchandising role, your responsibilities will include:

• Optimize On-Shelf Presence: Execute daily merchandising activities across assigned retail outlets to ensure our products are prominently displayed, adhering strictly to approved planograms for shelves, stands, and floor displays. Maximize visibility and accessibility for our Snacks, Snack Foods, and Beverages (SSFL) portfolio.
• Enforce Compliance and Quality Standards: Monitor and report any deviations from agreed-upon terms, including non-compliance with planograms, stock rotation, or product quality. Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practices to maintain freshness and remove sub-standard inventory.
• Leverage Market Insights: Gather and analyze real-time market data to identify selling opportunities, competitive activities, and trends. Provide actionable intelligence to the pre-seller team to inform strategic decisions.
• Engage Consumers Directly: Participate in in-store sampling and promotional campaigns to drive brand engagement and trial. Execute these initiatives with professionalism, aligning with PepsiCo’s brand guidelines and Frito Lay Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with supervisors to adhere to daily journey plans, ensuring efficient coverage of assigned outlets. Maintain transparent communication through daily activity reports and proactive issue resolution.
• Uphold Brand Integrity: Ensure all point-of-sale (POS) materials are placed strategically alongside product displays. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing presentation that reflects PepsiCo’s high standards.

Key Performance Metrics

Your success will be measured through:

• Execution Standard: Consistency in adhering to merchandising protocols, planograms, and operational best practices.
• Long-Term Agreement (LTA) Enforcement: Reliability in maintaining contractual commitments with retail partners and upholding brand agreements.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Efficiency in covering assigned outlets as per scheduled routes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
