Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing expert guidance on structural analysis, design, and innovation to ensure projects meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
• Project Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of structural engineering projects, from initial feasibility studies to final construction documentation, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Sustainability & Innovation: Drive sustainable design practices and explore advanced materials and technologies to enhance structural efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies to align technical solutions with project goals and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate structural risks, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A chartered engineer status (or equivalent) with a strong background in structural engineering, complemented by a relevant degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture).
• At least 10+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in leading complex projects from inception to delivery.
• Advanced technical proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
• Deep knowledge of international building codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC), seismic design principles, and sustainable construction practices.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to mentor teams, present technical concepts clearly to non-engineering stakeholders, and negotiate with contractors and clients.
