Oil & Gas Treatment Process Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oil & Gas Treatment Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Process Lead to execute key project activities, with a primary focus on the engineering phase. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of technical and administrative tasks, including active participation in client meetings, the preparation of comprehensive reports, and the development of detailed technical documentation. Your expertise will be instrumental in producing essential process deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment data sheets, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Collaboration: Work in tandem with the Project Process Lead to drive the successful execution of project activities, particularly during the engineering phase, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of process engineering deliverables.
• Client Engagement: Represent the company in client meetings with confidence, providing technical insights and contributing to discussions that advance project objectives.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain high-quality technical reports and documentation, demonstrating clarity, precision, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Process Deliverables Development: Lead the creation of critical process engineering documents, including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment data sheets, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas treatment processes, with a focus on design development for crude separation/stabilization and gas dehydration/compression systems.
• Travel and Collaboration: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake business trips or missions as required to support project execution and client interactions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector, with a proven track record in process engineering for treatment systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Exhibit strong familiarity with Upstream Oil & Gas treatment processes, including design principles for crude separation, stabilization, gas dehydration, and compression systems.
• Language Skills: Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in an additional foreign language is considered a valuable asset.
• Software Competency: Maintain advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, Office365 suite, and commercial process simulators such as HYSYS and UniSim.
