About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Coordinator to join our dynamic Information Technology team at a prestigious hotel within the Accor network. This role is pivotal in maintaining the hotel’s technology infrastructure, ensuring all systems, networks, hardware, and software operate seamlessly to support daily operations. The IT Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, uphold system reliability and security, and contribute to technology projects that enhance operational efficiency and guest experiences. Key Responsibilities

The IT Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the hotel’s technology ecosystem. Core responsibilities include:

• Technical Support: Provide first-line technical assistance to end-users, addressing IT helpdesk requests and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the hotel’s technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and peripheral devices, to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
• System Deployment & Maintenance: Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software across the property, ensuring compatibility and adherence to organizational standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, system configurations, and user access permissions while ensuring compliance with data security protocols and information security policies.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage hardware repairs, software licensing, and escalated technical support, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Project Support: Contribute to technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements, to enhance operational capabilities and guest services.
• Data Security & Integrity: Perform routine system backups, updates, and patches to safeguard data integrity and protect against security threats.
• Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources to streamline troubleshooting and support processes.
• User Training & Onboarding: Facilitate user training and onboarding for new technology systems and applications, ensuring staff are proficient and confident in their use.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in IT Support, Help Desk, System Administration, or a similar technical role, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking principles.
• Hospitality Experience: Prior experience within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows environments, basic server administration, and network infrastructure, along with familiarity with hospitality-specific systems and applications.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Security Awareness: A strong commitment to maintaining data security, confidentiality, and operational reliability in alignment with industry best practices.
