Key Responsibilities

As a Service Operator I – Pipeline/Process, your core duties will include:

• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor pipeline and process systems to detect anomalies, irregularities, or potential issues, ensuring prompt intervention to prevent disruptions or hazards.
• Operational Execution: Perform routine and emergency operational tasks, including valve operations, pressure adjustments, and flow control, to maintain optimal system performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification, and emergency response procedures, to safeguard personnel and assets.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance of pipeline and process equipment, reporting any defects or malfunctions to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in process operations, instrumentation, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in pipeline operations, process control, or a similar industrial environment, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with pipeline systems, process control instruments, and basic troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of SCADA systems or similar monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety protocols, including OSHA, API, or other relevant industry standards, with a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
