Echocardiography Technician - Dar Afia Hospital, Dammam

Dar Afia Hospital, a premier healthcare institution in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our multidisciplinary team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal studies, adhering to established protocols. Your daily tasks will encompass:

• Preparing patients for procedures and operating ultrasound equipment.
• Acquiring and recording diagnostic images, and assisting cardiologists in interpreting results.
• Accurately documenting findings in our hospital information system.
• Maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborating with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and efficient workflow.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Relevant technical skills, including proficiency in echocardiography imaging and ultrasound equipment operation.
• Strong clinical abilities in patient assessment, procedure preparation, and accurate documentation of findings.
• Solid knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common cardiovascular conditions, with understanding of echocardiography protocols and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Echocardiography, Cardiac Technology, or a related allied health field from an accredited institution.
• Relevant professional certification or registration in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Previous experience in a hospital or cardiology clinic setting, preferably performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dammam and follow shift schedules as needed.
