Key Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Manager will play a central role in the planning, execution, and completion of depot construction initiatives. Core responsibilities include:

• Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, client expectations, and organizational goals.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, contractors, and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Develop and implement robust cost management strategies, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to maintain financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with international construction standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the project team, clients, regulatory authorities, and local stakeholders, facilitating transparent communication and resolving issues proactively.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, modern technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing depot or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing construction projects in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks, labor laws, and cultural considerations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD, BIM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams under dynamic project conditions.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
