GRC Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled GRC Business Analyst with extensive experience in the telecom industry to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing governance, risk, and compliance initiatives for a prominent client based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will collaborate across critical telecom domains, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, provisioning, and network operations, to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Management: Develop, implement, and monitor GRC frameworks to align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, perform Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), and establish robust internal controls to mitigate potential threats.
• Telecom Domain Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of OSS/BSS, billing systems, CRM platforms, provisioning processes, and network operations to identify gaps, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of GRC practices across these domains.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of telecom regulatory requirements, including local and international standards, and ensure the organization’s adherence to these mandates. Facilitate compliance audits and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address any discrepancies.
• Business Analysis and Documentation: Conduct detailed business analysis to gather requirements, document processes, and develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD). Create process maps and workflow diagrams to visualize and optimize operational procedures.
• Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management: Support initiatives related to revenue assurance and fraud detection by analyzing data trends, identifying anomalies, and recommending corrective actions to safeguard financial integrity.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize tools such as SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel to extract, analyze, and visualize data. Generate insightful reports to support decision-making and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and compliance officers to ensure clear communication and alignment of GRC objectives. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the telecom industry, with a strong understanding of OSS/BSS, billing systems, CRM, provisioning, and network operations.
• GRC Expertise: Proven experience in implementing GRC frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and designing internal controls. Familiarity with RCSA methodologies is highly desirable.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of telecom regulatory compliance requirements, including local and international standards.
• Business Analysis Skills: Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, and process maps. Strong analytical skills to identify business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of revenue assurance and fraud management practices is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Location and Eligibility: Must be currently based in Saudi Arabia, preferably in Riyadh. Candidates must hold a transferable Iqama to ensure seamless integration into the local workforce.
