Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Attendant-Health Club to join our team at the W Hotels in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience for our guests by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service within our fitness and recreation facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, from routine maintenance and guest assistance to upholding safety protocols and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

The Attendant-Health Club will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Regularly wipe down fitness center machines, remove towels, trash, and debris from the fitness and recreation areas, and maintain a well-stocked supply of cups and water in the recreation area. Ensure restrooms and showers are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
• Guest Services: Distribute lockers and towels to guests, conduct inventory of supplies, and inform supervisors of any low stock items. Provide guests with information about available recreation facilities and activities, while promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
• Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to ensure the safety and welfare of all guests and members. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management. Complete all required safety training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
• Guest Assistance: Offer immediate assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Ensure guests with disabilities receive appropriate support and accommodations.
• Professional Conduct: Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform, and protect the confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation for their patronage.
• Communication and Teamwork: Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues. Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, develop and maintain positive working relationships, and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Physical Requirements: Perform job duties that may require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and perform tasks involving reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory. Additional certifications or training required by local and state agencies may also be necessary.
• Experience: While no prior related work experience is required, a passion for fitness, guest service, and maintaining a clean environment is highly desirable.
• Personal Attributes: Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A commitment to delivering exceptional service and upholding safety standards is essential.
