Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of Hire Fellows. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement robust financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support informed decision-making. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management to optimize resource allocation and profitability.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to tax obligations, audit processes, and corporate governance frameworks to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
• Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow projections, liquidity management, and investment strategies to ensure the company maintains optimal financial stability. Collaborate with banking partners to secure favorable financing terms and manage working capital efficiently.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure seamless operations and professional growth within the department.
• Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing financial expertise and recommendations to support business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, or other high-impact initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and financial institutions to enhance operational efficiency and credibility.
• Process Optimization and Technology Integration: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation, digital transformation, and the implementation of advanced financial software. Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations while reducing manual intervention and potential errors.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a corporate or multinational environment. Prior experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
