Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Advisory & PMO professional to join our team in Riyadh as an Assistant Manager (AM). This role is pivotal in providing strategic accounting advisory services and overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) for our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding clients through complex accounting challenges, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving operational excellence within the PMO framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Advisory Leadership: Provide expert guidance on accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance to clients across diverse industries. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop tailored solutions that address complex accounting issues.
• PMO Oversight: Lead and manage the PMO function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client objectives. Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication to drive successful outcomes.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering high-quality accounting advisory services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
• Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, such as IFRS and GAAP, and leverage this knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports to support decision-making.
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including audit, tax, and consulting professionals, to deliver integrated solutions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
• Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency within the PMO and accounting advisory processes. Implement best practices and innovative tools to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or PMO roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects. Prior experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other accounting frameworks. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
