Key Responsibilities
The Sales & Collections Representative will play a critical role in the following areas:
- Sales Execution: Actively promote and sell the company’s comprehensive product portfolio to assigned healthcare accounts, including hospitals, pharmacy chains, and institutional clients, ensuring maximum product penetration and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management: Conduct regular field visits to maintain strong coverage and foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers, purchasers, and pharmacists within the assigned territory.
- Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to drive growth.
- Collections Management: Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and manage the full collection cycle, coordinating closely with finance teams to resolve collection-related issues and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Account Receivables Tracking: Monitor and update account receivables and payment status on a regular basis, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for financial reporting and decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, stock movement, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion and increased product penetration within existing accounts.
- Contract Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to agreed payment terms and contractual obligations, escalating any delays or account issues promptly to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
- Reporting and Escalation: Provide accurate and consistent reports on sales activities, collections status, and market feedback, while proactively escalating any challenges or delays to senior management for timely resolution.
Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and competencies:
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in a sales capacity, with a proven track record in handling institutional accounts and collections follow-up within the healthcare sector.
- Market Knowledge: Strong network and deep understanding of the Riyadh region’s healthcare landscape, with a preference for candidates based in or familiar with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated capability to manage sales targets and receivables simultaneously, ensuring both revenue generation and cash flow optimization without compromising on either front.
- Core Skills: Exceptional negotiation, follow-up, and relationship management skills, coupled with a high level of accountability and field discipline to drive consistent performance.
