Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Work Permit Receiver to join our team, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of electrical and utility projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and issuing work permits in compliance with stringent safety regulations and company protocols. This role is critical in maintaining operational excellence while safeguarding personnel and assets in alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Permit Management: Oversee the issuance, review, and closure of work permits in accordance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and electrical safety procedures.
• Compliance & Coordination: Ensure all work activities adhere to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) regulations, safety protocols, and site-specific requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with operations, maintenance, and project teams to facilitate seamless permit processing and execution of tasks.
• Safety Assurance: Conduct risk assessments, verify safety measures, and validate compliance with electrical safety standards before permit approval.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of permits issued, inspections conducted, and safety compliance reports for audits and regulatory reviews.
• SEC Alignment: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SEC’s approval processes and certification requirements for Work Permit Receivers.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Safety Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Work Permit Receiver, specifically within electrical or utility projects.
• Proven track record of working with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) or similar organizations in the region.
• Possession of a valid SEC approval/certification as a Work Permit Receiver, demonstrating compliance with local regulatory standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, PTW systems, and site safety regulations, with the ability to apply them in high-risk environments.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, interpret safety protocols, and make informed decisions under pressure.
