Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects. Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be instrumental in driving project success through meticulous planning, execution, and oversight. Core responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Execution: Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including site layout, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient project completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• On-Site Supervision: Oversee daily site activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to building codes and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless workflow, resolve conflicts, and address technical challenges. Maintain open and effective communication channels to align all parties with project objectives.
• Material and Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment, ensuring optimal supply levels and timely availability to support uninterrupted project execution. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify and rectify deviations promptly.
• Technical Guidance and Support: Provide expert technical guidance to field personnel and subcontractors, addressing operational challenges and ensuring adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot issues and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including daily progress reports, site logs, as-built drawings, and compliance documentation. Ensure all records are up-to-date and readily accessible for audits, reviews, and contractual obligations.
• Safety and Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. Participate in safety awareness initiatives and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS (Integrated Management System) policies.
• Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, track cost variances, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety. Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize budget utilization and ensure financial accountability.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project goals. Foster strong relationships to enhance client satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Professional Registration: Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in site engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, quality standards, and project management principles. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
