Role Overview

As a Master Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of SAP master data to support Almarai’s operational and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that master data aligns with service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements, while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance system effectiveness. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Management: Create, maintain, and update SAP master data in strict accordance with requests from authorized data providers, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Process Enhancement: Review and refine master data procedures to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all business processes. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes that maximize business value and system efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with end users and data providers to ensure the precise collection, maintenance, and optimization of master data for assigned business objects, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with various teams and business initiatives to support operational excellence and enhance overall business performance through effective master data utilization.
• Compliance and Control: Ensure strict compliance with SAP change management procedures and maintain rigorous control over master data updates to mitigate the risk of unauthorized changes and safeguard data integrity.

Requirements

• A diploma qualification in a related field, such as business administration, information technology, or data management.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel, with a demonstrated ability to navigate and manipulate data efficiently.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
