Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
The Anaesthesia Technologist will play a pivotal role in supporting anaesthesia services by performing a range of technical and operational duties, including:
- Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections, calibration, and maintenance of anaesthesia machines, monitoring devices, and related equipment to ensure optimal functionality before, during, and after surgical or diagnostic procedures.
- Technical Assistance During Procedures: Provide real-time technical support to anaesthesiologists by preparing and operating anaesthesia equipment, ensuring all devices are calibrated and ready for use. Assist in the administration of anaesthetic agents and medications as required, maintaining a sterile and efficient environment.
- Equipment Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor anaesthesia equipment during procedures to identify and resolve any technical issues promptly. Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Anaesthesia Technology from an accredited institution.
- Professional Certification: Valid registration and professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Experience: A minimum of 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in anaesthesia technology, operating theatres, or a related healthcare environment. Prior exposure to anaesthesia equipment and clinical settings is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting anaesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitoring devices. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments.
