Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Construction Supervision (Developer Side) to lead and oversee construction projects from the initial Notice to Proceed (NTP) through final handover. This critical role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex construction and real estate development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, budget, schedule, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hospitality, high-rise, and infrastructure projects, along with a strong background in developer/client-side supervision and contract administration.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in construction and real estate development projects, with at least 5 years specifically in a developer/client-side role managing construction supervision and project delivery.
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience in hospitality, high-rise, and infrastructure projects.
• Contract Administration: In-depth knowledge of contract administration, including Variation Orders (VOs), Extensions of Time (EOTs), claims, payment certifications, and project close-out processes.
• Certifications: PMP certification is preferred. FIDIC knowledge or certification is considered an advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Core Responsibilities

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing the following key responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead the construction supervision phase from NTP through final handover, ensuring all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage supervision consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, budget constraints, schedule deadlines, and HSE requirements.
• Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop and implement recovery plans to mitigate deviations and ensure project objectives are met.
• Documentation and Compliance: Review and approve execution plans, construction methodologies, variation orders, EOTs, and contractual claims to maintain alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with authorities, operators, utilities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery and operational readiness.
• Reporting and Close-Out: Prepare comprehensive executive progress reports for senior management and support commissioning, handover, and contract close-out processes.

Preferred Background

Candidates with prior experience in real estate development, hospitality projects, high-rise constructions, infrastructure developments, and master-planned community projects will be highly preferred.
